Andrew McCarthy
Managing Director, Client Services

As Managing Director, Business Development and Client Services, Andrew McCarthy is responsible for all aspects of Kessler’s strategic growth plan, and for managing Kessler’s client service model. He also leads Kessler’s relationship with a number of our key clients.

Andrew joined Kessler from McKinsey & Company, New York, where he was leader of McKinsey’s Payments Practice. In that role he served a diverse range of clients in the payments and retail banking businesses on a wide range of strategy, growth, operations and other topics. During his time at McKinsey, he took a leave of absence to found a startup focused on small business payments.

Andrew holds a B.Sc. (Eng.) in Chemical Engineering, from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and an M.A. (Oxon.) from the University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar for South Africa-at-large.
